Camilla Kasper, LMSW, is Licensed as a Master of Social Work and serves as Intake Coordinator at Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta. Camilla utilizes evidence-based practices from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework in order to treat adolescents and adults who experience relationship struggles, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), stress, life transitions, and generalized anxiety. She incorporates Exposure Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to treat anxiety disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, and panic disorder.

Camilla received her master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) at Tulane University after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) from the University of Georgia. During her time at both institutions, Camilla completed a number of practicums that provided her the opportunity to work with a wide range of individuals, which only furthered her passion to shift the stigma surrounding mental health. During her internship with Notre Dame Hospice, Camilla also developed an interest in the death, dying, and grieving process and has experience with bereavement counseling.

Since joining the Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta in 2023, Camilla has focused her work on using a playful and creative approach to helping individuals navigate living in coexistence with their anxiety, while also moving towards their values. Camilla also has lived experience with OCD and understands the struggles of living with this disorder, as well as the rewards and freedom that ERP can bring. Currently, Camilla is under supervision of Rachel Warsett, LPC, CPCS.

Camilla was born in Leping, China but has called Atlanta, Georgia her home since a young age. She is passionate about working with Asian American families, and in particular, individuals and families who have experienced adoption. Outside of work, you can find her spending time with loved ones, outside, creating art, and playing any kind of game.
