Meredith Tompkins, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor, who specializes in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders, including social anxiety, specific phobias, health anxiety, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety. Meredith also has experience in managing co-existing depressive disorders. Meredith enjoys working with adolescents and adults and provides evidence-based therapies including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response-Prevention (ERP), and Acceptanec and Commitment Therapy ACT). Meredith also relies on other mindfulness-based approaches.

Meredith gained experience working with students in a school setting and a college counseling center during her practicum and internship while earning her Master’s degree. Most recently, Meredith has worked at a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) focusing on acute adults (ages 18+) struggling with OCD, anxiety, and depression. Meredith also has experience facilitating groups focused on DBT skills, mindfulness skills, OCD, generalized anxiety, and depression.

Meredith was born and raised in metro Atlanta. She loves spending time with her family, including taking her hound-mix, Penny, on long walks. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, concerts, and coffee.
