Pre-Licensed Providers

 

Taylor Verges, APC is an Associate Professional Counselor who specializes in supporting adolescents and adults who struggle with OCD, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, panic disorders, phobias including dog phobias, and other anxiety-related challenges. She uses evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients face fears, regulate emotions, change unhelpful thought patterns, and reduce emotional reactivity.

Taylor earned her M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University in 2025. During her internship, she focused on CBT and DBT and completed basic training in EMDR. Taylor has also completed intensive training in both ERP and ACT. She received her license as an Associate Professional Counselor in 2025 and is currently practicing under the supervision of Rachel Warsett, LPC, CPCS

Taylor is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and moved to Atlanta when pursuing her undergraduate degree at Georgia State University. In her free time, she enjoys learning about all things wellness, including fitness, skincare, and healthy lifestyle habits. She also loves spending time with her dog, Tini, who is a trained therapy dog and participates in sessions to assist with dog phobia exposures and provide emotional support.
