DESCRIPTION:WHO: Parents of anxious children\nCOST: $100 per group ($600 to

 PC at munford@anxietyatl.com.\n\nThis group – led by Marti Munford\, LPC
  – is designed to help parents and caregivers who are raising children w
 ith anxiety and OCD. This group is based on the parent-based protocol outl
 ined by Yale University’s empirically supported S.P.A.C.E program (Suppo
 rtive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). Together\, we will walk t
 hrough the process of parenting the anxious child through recognition and 
 reduction of parent accommodation as well as communicating confidence\, va
 lidation\, and support to your child.\nThis group will begin with a first 
 session interactive psychoeducational event on August 15\, 2024 at 1130am 
 (on zoom)\nSix (6) sessions will be delivered in small-group format\, held
  on Thursdays from 11:30am-1pm beginning August 15th through September 19t
 h\, 2024.\nGroups will meet via Zoom. Once you have registered\, someone f
 rom Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta will contact you to confirm contact and
  family information and they will provide all meeting details. Payments wi
 ll take place weekly as the meetings happen through our patient portal eve
 n if you miss a session.
